What Actually Stays in the Dark Behind Thick Curtains of Masterson’s Bar and Pub ?

Masterson’s Tavern , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my most recent experience at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The State of the Venue : Filthy and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I entered , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this establishment . The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of stale beer and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and trash that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a lurking threat than a welcoming host .
